This morning I woke to read a new post on Brandon’s Legacy page. It is a wonderful reminder of how fondly people remember our son who was a nurse at a transitional facility where people come to rehabilitate from surgery or other illnesses. It is basically a nursing home, as well, for the elderly. I know Brandon was a good person but many things have been said and written that addresses how the son we knew and the character he possessed affected those he came to know through his schooling and his career.
Many of the statements are from people I have never met. I don’t know if I can ever thank his friends enough for sharing these lovely remembrances even nearly seven years out from the day he left this world. They can’t possibly know just what it means to me that he was loved so much and that his humor and kindness still echoes to this day along with the profound sadness we have all experienced by his absence. We have all been blessed by knowing him.
