Sometimes the battlefields are never on foreign soil but rather in the familiar land of home. This is such a sad commentary on how Americans treat the soldiers who volunteered to protect and serve. Some minds are too fragile and sensitive to live with the savagery of war. In ancient times, soldiers were trained from the cradle so therefore their minds were already prepared for what awaited them…”kill or be killed”…our contemporary soldiers are given little time, in comparison, to be conditioned for war. I am not so sure that they are ever able to deal with the repercussions …who among us could?
